hey peeps, just a short post to notify u ppl that i won't be in Singapore from tomorrow night onwards.

Reason being that i'm leaving for ITALY (:

Yeap, MILAN, FLORENCE, SIENA, PISA, VENICE, ROME!

haha, i'll be back with lotsa pics (maybe a post if i can push myself)

N not forgetting some souvenirs

Like what they say "you only appreciate it once it's gone", i finally understand how wenxin does what she does.

She solos as a Sec2 IC, without having a partner, or just someone to consult in times of doubt

I can vividly remember the numerous times I've called up Sheena, (or vice versa) to ask for advice, or her views on ANYTHING regarding the Sec1s

But now, she's in Chiang Rai, or Mai.. (wdv) nd so is Wenxin. I have absolutely no one to go to.

 

It may seem simple, but i have recently come to realise, that i'm not one who makes decisions relli well

Before my final answer, i would probably(9out of 10 times) get a third party's remarks.

However, if i were to make the decision on my own, it would 99.9% be a SAFE decision...

Like, somewhere in between.

 

Maybe it's because of my fear of failure

Or my fear of being disliked by people

So because of either, or both, I feel almost reluctant to come up with a clear-cut decision

A lot of 'um's, 'er's and <dots> included

 

Just today, Michelle requested for me to CHOOSE 4+2 Sec1s from the squad to join the fancy foot drill squad

And I'm just stuck between the options i have

1) Just choose by the Junior's drill standards, without caring about other factors (eg: passion/interest/time they are able to invest)

2) Let the juniors volunteer, even though their standard might not be "there"

3) Do an impromptu test n base it on that

4) choose the LCPs

5) Randomly select

 

i'm crappily in deep crap.

help anyone?

I'm currently at Adwin's Parkview condo (my cousin), cos he just bought a house with his wife, June.

Um, it officially starts at 6.30pm.. but I've been here since 1pm? cos i had to HELP OUT

n i wanted to go see see their gym as well..

 

We had lunch nearby first then me, mom n sam yee started helping out in the kitchen.

i mixed the tuna with mayo, salt, pepper some onions then egg.

spread magarine on "skin-less" bread (i cut them out!)

put the mix on the bread

n i got a plate of sandwiches (:

 

meanwhile the other women (June, my mommy n sam yee) made lil' sausage puffs, salad, fries n PASTA.

yeapp, lotsa FOOD X)

 

5.30pm, n i finally dragged myself to go to the gym (alone leh... thus so reluctant)

there was only 2 ppl in the gym (yay..!)

but both of em were using the only 2 treadmills in e gym (boo..)

so i did some calf press then the exercise bike caught my eye 0.0

 

cycled for approx 20mins

then the guy on the treadmill stopped

so i rested a bit

n got on (=

weee~!

 

however, i wasnt in e mood?

or not feeling well?

i kept lowering my speed then raising then lowering

after 10mins, i got off. sad luh

but nvm. shdnt force myself ya?

 

oh well, im back at the house now

guests about to arrive anytime

so i better take a shower

well, i also developed a blister due to the constant, direct contact with the rifle

too much friction = blister

well, yesterday was gals night out @ night SAFARI

we supposed to meet at AMKhub's pepper lunch @ 5.45pm

for dinner of cos

however, as usual, miss rachel lim jia ning

WAS LATE

haish...

reason being she went to north point to search for a file OF MINE which she lost

wasnt very important

but she thot it was

ah well, nvm

 

we reached the NIGHTsafari at 7.35pm

not in time for the first "Creatures of the Night" show

so we decided to walk around first

we went to e tram station to take e tram

but they said our ticket wasnt inclusive of a tram ride =(((

 

didnt wanna buy the tram tic ($10)

so me, mummy, rachel, yukwan, vanessa

walked on the trail

 

highlights:: the cute mousedeer that ate the leaf outta my hand (:

the other cute mousedeer whose nose i hit when i tried to pass her a berry >.<

all 4 of us were kinda snuggling close to each other

n okay, i admit, i kinda freaked out when the bat zoomed pass our heads

n okay, squatted down to avoid it >.<

 

haha, fine laugh all u want!!

 

after completing two trails, it was abt 8.50pm, n we were @ the East Lodge

since we wanted to catch the 9.30pm show (n had to b thr 30mins b4 so as to get goody seats)

we chionged thru the 3rd n final trail. hardly stopping to see anyth

aww, missed a bit

but we had loadsa fun running (=

 

the show was blah.

it hardly changed

yup

 

cam-whored (its pronounced cam-hored not cam-warred or wdv...)

@ e entrance plaza's toilet

had BEN & jerry's ice cream

then went home (half-dead that is..)

on the mrt, they was some stinky man who leaned backwards while standing, n yk was dying... hahah

firstly i wanna say, i miss my Sheena, Wenxin n Megan. haish. those others gone, oso include... um: Leon, Sheng Chao, Lewis, Anna, Sophia & Shien. yeap, kinda sad that they left... but its only gonna be 10 days. hope they have fun there and enjoy even while doing CIP like

teaching those kids Mandarin +

painting walls +

building roads...

 

hahas, next up im gonna whine about PDS training. The 2nd one (technically, since i was unavailable during the 1st)

Well, we did revision of sequences 1, 2, 3, 4

then did a bit of forward spin, masuk baris, our move #1

then sequences A, B, C, D

 

While doing the forward spin, the rifle i was using, (borrowed from NCC mind you)

dropped on the floor

n i went down to pick it up

WHO KNEW, it had energy.

ENERGY to rebound n hit my jawbone... :(

wahhhhh. sobs sobs. we only just started warming up laa

like 20mins passed nia

went to Kopitiam uncle for ice.

still huts tho >.<

===> conclusion:: NCC rifle only loyal to NCC cadets. yep, im not one of em. sad sad

 

Rachel then taught me the backward throw n that "let go" thingy

quite fun. but i hit my head twice. DOWEL POLE only sia

i can't imagine the "bu kan she xiang de xia chang" when we start practising with the PDS rifle
